Kisuke Urahara (浦原 喜助, Urahara Kisuke?), once the 3rd Seat of the 2nd Division, replaces Kirio Hikifune as the captain of the 12th Division during the Turn Back the Pendulum gaiden. Upon his departure, Mayuri Kurotsuchi becomes the new captain of Squad 12 and Research and Development Bureau. Urahara's zanpakutō's name is Benihime (literally meaning Crimson Princess). To make Benihime go into Shikai, he will say the following words. "Okiro, Benihime" (literally meaning Awaken) One of Benihime's techniques, is when Urahara calls out "Cry, Benihime!" in battle. (Naki, Benihime) Benihime will shoot a red stream of light quickly that will cut through most things and objects, such as buildings and opponents. Another known move from the 3rd movie, Fade To Black, is when he says "Render it asunder, Benihime!" (Kirisaki, Benihime)This will make a shield, which will shoot beams out to attack the opponent while having a defense. Lastly, Urahara uses these moves when there is great danger or a tough opponent. While Shibari, Benihime will have a bloodstream thread ensnare the opponent totally trapping them under or into it. Then, he will stab Benihime into part of the netting, then calling out, "Hiasobi, Benihime... Juzutsunagi. This technique will start with Hiasobi, where small perfectly round orbs of fire start coming out of the netting.
