- Air-to-fakie

- Poptart
- Airing from fakie to forward on a quarterpipe or halfpipe without rotation.
- Flail
- The movements of an out-of-control snowboarder who is waving his/her hands wildly while in the air. Also called humping sheep or rolling down the windows.

Famous quotes containing the words straight and/or airs:
“Expecting me to grovel,
she carefully covers both feet
with the hem of her skirt.
She pretends to hide
a coming smile
and wont look straight at me.
When I talk to her,
she chats with her friend
in cross tones.
Even this slim girls rising anger
delights me,
let alone her deep love.”
—Amaru (c. seventh century A.D.)
“Only you women have to put these airs on
To impress men. Youve got us so ashamed
Of being men we cant look at a good fight
Between two boys and not feel bound to stop it.”
—Robert Frost (18741963)
