Georgraphic Boundaries
Unlike most of Europe, the boundaries of the Roman Catholic dioceses in Ireland do not conform with the political border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. One archdiocese, and three dioceses straddle the border.
- Archdiocese of Armagh (includes parts of counties Armagh, Londonderry and Tyrone)
- Diocese of Clogher (includes parts of counties Fermanagh and Tyrone)
- Diocese of Derry (includes parts of counties Londonderry, Antrim and Tyrone)
- Diocese of Kilmore (includes parts of County Fermanagh).

Famous quotes containing the word boundaries:
“Not too many years ago, a childs experience was limited by how far he or she could ride a bicycle or by the physical boundaries that parents set. Today ... the real boundaries of a childs life are set more by the number of available cable channels and videotapes, by the simulated reality of videogames, by the number of megabytes of memory in the home computer. Now kids can go anywhere, as long as they stay inside the electronic bubble.”
—Richard Louv (20th century)
