National Parks and Aquatical, Biodiversity and Ecological Reserves of Quebec
In Quebec, provincial parks are called "national parks", and are managed by the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec, also known as Sépaq. The ecological reserves, the biodiversity reserves and the aquatical reserves are managed by the Ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et des Parcs (Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks) of Québec.

Famous quotes containing the words national, parks, ecological and/or reserves:
“What do we mean by patriotism in the context of our times? I venture to suggest that what we mean is a sense of national responsibility ... a patriotism which is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.”
—Adlai Stevenson (19001965)
“Perhaps our own woods and fields,in the best wooded towns, where we need not quarrel about the huckleberries, with the primitive swamps scattered here and there in their midst, but not prevailing over them, are the perfection of parks and groves, gardens, arbors, paths, vistas, and landscapes. They are the natural consequence of what art and refinement we as a people have.... Or, I would rather say, such were our groves twenty years ago.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“The question that will decide our destiny is not whether we shall expand into space. It is: shall we be one species or a million? A million species will not exhaust the ecological niches that are awaiting the arrival of intelligence.”
—Freeman Dyson (b. 1923)
“...I want to see a film, they send the Israeli army reserves to escort me! What kind of life is this?”
—Golda Meir (18981978)
