Vernon Bundy
Bundy testified that he saw Clay Shaw meet with Lee Oswald by the seawall at Lake Pontchartrain in 1963. When Bundy failed a polygraph examination, assistant DAs James Alcock and Charles Ward tried in vain to convince Garrison not to use Bundy as a witness. According to author James Kirkwood, in exchange for Bundy's assistance, Garrison quietly sprung Bundy from prison.
