Albania
Mobile telecommunication services are widely spread in Albania. The number of users that communicated in the last three months of 2011 was approximately 3.1 million, 2% lower than the same period of the year before. The penetration level was 185% - Vodafone has almost 52% of the revenue, AMC 34%, Eagle Mobile 12% and Plus Communication, the newest company on the market which launched in December 2010, has 2%.
