Famous quotes containing the words meg and/or armstrong:
“O bid me mount and sail up there
Amid the cloudy wrack,
For Peg and Meg and Paris love
That had so straight a back,
Are gone away, and some that stay
Have changed their silk for sack.”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
“But Jonnë had a bright sword by his side,
And it was made of the mettle so free,
That had not the king stept his foot aside,
He had smitten his head from his faire bodde.”
—Unknown. Johnie Armstrong (l. 4548)
