The United States never lost a war or won a conference.
    Will Rogers (1879–1935)

The United States is not a nation to which peace is a necessity.
    Grover Cleveland (1837–1908)

An inquiry about the attitude towards the release of so-called political prisoners. Calvin Coolidge (1872–1933)

    Elizabeth Cady Stanton (1816–1902)
