Computing Tabulating Recording Company, 1911
The Computing Tabulating Recording Company (CTR), renamed International Business Machines Corporation in 1924, was incorporated on June 15, 1911. CTR was formed through a merger of three separate corporations:
- Tabulating Machine Company
- Computing Scale Corporation
- International Time Recording Company
