New Zealand has many fine marinas, almost all on the east coast where entry is safer than on the west coast. Casual visitors requiring berths for one or more nights are generally welcome but should be contacted if possible before arrival. Also listed below are some fishing clubs and yacht clubs which were known to welcome casual visitors in 2007.
