Berserker is the Second Fist of Ragnarok. He rarely speaks and has a calm disposition. Berserker never studied martial arts; he simply has a natural talent for fighting. He is said to be the most fearsome fighter in Ragnarok. However, he is afraid to fight Odin, believing that the latter is much stronger than he is.
He is named after Berserkers, Norse warriors. His sleeveless jacket features Norway's flag pattern. He displays a furious battle rage when aroused and the ability to negate feelings of pain through an adrenaline rush, which enables him to ignore his injuries and continue fighting. After his lost to Hermit, Berserker joined YOMI and became one of Isshinsai Ogata (Kensei)'s disciples. After Kensei acknowledged Berserker's natural talents and abilities. Seeing non-necessasry to teach him any techniques so he just helping Bersekers in special training method, then he can develop a Garyu (self-taught style) of his own. Miu said he had a similar training path to Hayato's, her grandfather.
He is also somehow able to recognize certain pieces of music; for example he recognized Mozart's Requiem as he was fighting Siegfried, though possibly just from his own knowledge of Siegfried's special technique, Requiem Buster. Loki believed that Berserker also possessed some leadership skills that even better than Odin's.
Berserker is an extremely lucky and outstanding natural talent in martial arts, which could be consider as the "rarest" case of all. In Ragnarok act, Hermit had a hard time to read his rhythms since Berserker didn't actually study any styles of martial arts. In chapter 500, after Berserker join YOMI, no one had ever successfully dodge his attacks so perfectly beside Kenichi. With both his hands in his pocket, by bending his shoulders and elbows around his body, Berserker is able to create a "small but really strong" Seikuken that use to counter Kenichi's.
