Due to injury to both Starting Quarterback Matt Schaub and Backup Quarterback Matt Leinart during the Regular Season, T.J. Yates became the starter for the rest of the season as well as the Playoffs. Yates is 3-4 as a starter, including 2-3 in the regular season, and 1-1 in the playoffs
