  • Midway High, Charlottesville, Va. existed just before Lane High was built and Lane was larger than Midway High School to make way for "baby boomers" after WWII. Midway was next destroyed and apartments were built to house the elderly. Midway High was located approximately 1/8 mile east on a hill from the Lewis and Clark statue.
