• Robin Oakley - was the BBC's political editor between 1992 and 2000. He is now the political editor for CNN International.
• Nick Owen is the current main anchor on BBC Midlands Today. He previously achieved fame as co-presenter (with Anne Diamond) of TV-AM in the 1980s - the pair later had their own BBC daytime chat show 'Good Morning With Anne and Nick' (1992-96).
