Donna Ludlow, played by Matilda Ziegler between 1987 and 1989, is the daughter of Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth). Donna was put up for adoption at an young age, and in August 1987 she arrives in Walford to make contact with her long-lost mother. Donna is a troubled individual who is desperate for attention, but she is shunned by almost all who encounter her. After she finds out she was conceived from rape and then rejected by Kathy, Donna sets herself on a path of self-destruction.
