  • Aaliyah (January 16, 1979 – August 25, 2001) was an American recording artist, dancer and actress, who rose to fame when she emerged as an R&B singer in the mid-1990s with the release of her debut studio album, Age Ain't Nothing But a Number (1994). Often cited as the "Princess of R&B" and the "Queen of Urban Pop," Aaliyah was well known for her hip-hop style dance choreography, that she often exhibited in her music videos. The singer was killed in a plane crash on August 25, 2001 at the age of twenty two. Aaliyah has sold an estimated 32 million albums worldwide, including several posthumous releases.
  • Fifi Abdou (born April 26, 1953) is an Egyptian belly dancer and actress. She rose to fame in the 1970s, and was one of the most famous and successful Egyptian dance stars throughout the 1980s and 1990s until her retirement in the 2000s. She has been the subject of several controversies during her long career.
  • Fredrick Austerlitz (born May 10, 1899 - June 22, 1987) also known as (Fred Astaire) was an American film and Broadway stage dancer, choreographer, singer, musician and actor. He was an innovator in dance. He made 31 musical films and also was honored with the fifth Greatest Male Star of All Time by the American Film Institute.

  • Paula Abdul (born June 16, 1962) is an American recording artist, dancer, choreographer, and actress. Before achieving widespread fame as a recording artist in the early 1990s, Abdul, a former high school cheerleader, was a heavily sought-after choreographer who has designed dance routines for several well-known performers, including singer Janet Jackson. In her music videos, Abdul has exhibited skills in a variety of dance styles, including hip-hop, tap, and freestyle. Abdul's major television breakthrough came in 2002, when she became a judge on the popular reality television talent competition American Idol, a role in which she remained for seven years. In 2011 Abdul was one of the judges on the American version of The X Factor, another reality television singing competition.
  • Christina Aguilera (born December 18, 1980) is an American recording artist, dancer, television personality and actress. Aguilera rose to superstardom as a teen pop sensation in the late-1990s when she released her self-titled debut studio album (1999). Although Aguilera's dancing abilities aren't quite as recognized as those of fellow pop singer Britney Spears, to whom she is often compared, Aguilera frequently dances in her music videos and occasionally on stage, and achieved widespread critical acclaim for her dance performance in her 2010 acting debut, Burlesque. Aguilera is currently a judge on the reality television singing competition, The Voice.
