All the Indonesian Navy Vessels are named with the KRI Initial. KRI (Kapal Perang Republik Indonesia) means Navy Vessel Of The Republic Of Indonesia. The class are often named after the lead ships.
The navy includes Frigates, Corvettes, Submarines, Fast Attack Craft, Minesweepers, Landing Transport Ships, Support Vessels and Training Ships.
