List of Christian Brothers Schools

The following is an incomplete list of the schools, colleges, and other educational institutions founded, run or staffed (in any capacity) by the Congregation of Christian Brothers since 1802. Some schools no longer exist, some are incorporated in new schools and some have changed their names. The names of defunct schools are included but linked to their successor schools, if any. Some schools have connections with other religious institutes as well as with the Christian Brothers. Most of the schools are now staffed by lay teachers.

Famous quotes containing the words list of, list, christian, brothers and/or schools:

A man’s interest in a single bluebird is worth more than a complete but dry list of the fauna and flora of a town.

Thirty—the promise of a decade of loneliness, a thinning list of single men to know, a thinning brief-case of enthusiasm, thinning hair.

There is not a Musselman alive who would not imagine that he was performing an action pleasing to God and his Holy Prophet by exterminating every Christian on earth, while the Christians are scarcely more tolerant on their side.

Even brothers should keep careful accounts.
    Chinese proverb.

Good schools are schools for the development of the whole child. They seek to help children develop to their maximum their social powers and their intellectual powers, their emotional capacities, their physical powers.
