The Chief Minister of Karnataka is the chief executive of the Government of Karnataka, a state in Southern India. According to the Constitution of India, although the nominal head of an Indian state is the Governor, the actual executive authority is vested with the Chief Minister.

21 people have held the office of Chief Minister of Karnataka including the inaugural holder Kysamballi Chengalraya Reddy (1947–52) of the Indian National Congress party. The incumbent is Jagadish Shettar of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who has held office since 12 July 2012. Prior to 1973, Karnataka was known as Mysore, and the office was thus called the Chief Minister of Mysore.
