Godwin

The Godwin faction is one of the major factions of Falena and were involved in the succession struggle between Falzrahm and Shahrewar. Their base of powers is the city of Stormfist, the old capital of Falena, and they exert influence over the Herschville Naval Base, Doraat, and parts of Lelcar.

After the succession conflict, the Godwins prospered, in part because their land was untouched during the Armes invasion eight years earlier. Marscal and Gizel Godwin proved to be capable administrators who successfully stopped Ferid and Arshtat from banning gladiatorial combat, the mainstay entertainment of Stormfirst, entirely and instead accepted regulatations in which gladiators received better treatment.
