The C-Train, or the LRT in local parlance, is a light rail transit system in Calgary. There are two LRT routes spanning four lines. The C-Train operates on a proof-of-payment system.
Travel between stations on 7 Avenue on the C-Train, the majority of which are served by both routes, are free. Regular transit fare is required for buses serving 7 Avenue and shuttle buses operating on 7 Avenue during LRT line closures.
In the event of a C-Train disruption, routes B201/B202(CTrain replacement bus) are commissioned, serving between the affected stops.
