List of Brisbane Lions Players

List Of Brisbane Lions Players

This is a list of every player to have at least played one senior VFL/AFL game for Brisbane Lions since its inception in 1997.

Players are listed in order of debut, and the start of their Brisbane Lions career is determined by their year of debut, and the end is determined by the year of their final game playing for the Brisbane Lions. This guideline results in the possibility that players may not have necessarily began or finished their career on the Brisbane Lions list within these periods listed.

Statistics include only Brisbane Lions careers, and are correct as of the start of the 2012 AFL season. Specifically, games played for either of the two clubs that merged in 1996 to form the Brisbane Lions, the Brisbane Bears and the Fitzroy Football Club are not included in this list.

Key
* Player is still active in the AFL

Famous quotes containing the words list of, list, lions and/or players:

Modern tourist guides have helped raised tourist expectations. And they have provided the natives—from Kaiser Wilhelm down to the villagers of Chichacestenango—with a detailed and itemized list of what is expected of them and when. These are the up-to- date scripts for actors on the tourists’ stage.
    Daniel J. Boorstin (b. 1914)

Do your children view themselves as successes or failures? Are they being encouraged to be inquisitive or passive? Are they afraid to challenge authority and to question assumptions? Do they feel comfortable adapting to change? Are they easily discouraged if they cannot arrive at a solution to a problem? The answers to those questions will give you a better appraisal of their education than any list of courses, grades, or test scores.
    Lawrence Kutner (20th century)

There is no magic decoding ring that will help us read our young adolescent’s feelings. Rather, what we need to do is hold out our antennae in the hope that we’ll pick up the right signals.
—The Lions Clubs International and the Quest Nation. The Surprising Years, III, ch.4 (1985)

I do not like football, which I think of as a game in which two tractors approach each other from opposite directions and collide. Besides, I have contempt for a game in which players have to wear so much equipment. Men play basketball in their underwear, which seems just right to me.
    Anna Quindlen (b. 1952)
