List of Bowling Green Falcons Baseball Seasons

This is a list of seasons completed by the Bowling Green State University Falcons baseball team. This list documents the season-by-season records of the Falcons from 1915 to the present, including conference and national post season records. Bowling Green's baseball program fielded its first varsity team in 1921. From 1921 until 1932, Bowling Green was a member of the Northwestern Ohio Intercollegiate Athletic Association and was an independent until 1953 when the school joined the Mid-American Conference. The Falcons currently compete in the East Division of the MAC and have competed in the East Division since 2006.

In their 90-year history, Bowling Green has played in 2,675 games and have an all-time winning percentage of .544. The Falcons have appeared in four NCAA tournaments in 1972, 1998, 1999 and 2013. The program has won seven NWOIAA championships and has been named MAC regular season conference champions seven times and its tournament champion three times.

From 1915 until 1926, the athletic programs at Bowling Green were known as the Normals, after the institution's original name Bowling Green State Normal School.

Famous quotes containing the words list of, list, green, falcons, baseball and/or seasons:

    Shea—they call him Scholar Jack—
Went down the list of the dead.
    Officers, seamen, gunners, marines,
The crews of the gig and yawl,
The bearded man and the lad in his teens,
    Carpenters, coal-passers—all.
    Joseph I. C. Clarke (1846–1925)

I am opposed to writing about the private lives of living authors and psychoanalyzing them while they are alive. Criticism is getting all mixed up with a combination of the Junior F.B.I.- men, discards from Freud and Jung and a sort of Columnist peep- hole and missing laundry list school.... Every young English professor sees gold in them dirty sheets now. Imagine what they can do with the soiled sheets of four legal beds by the same writer and you can see why their tongues are slavering.
    Ernest Hemingway (1899–1961)

Hermann and Humbert are alike only in the sense that two dragons painted by the same artist at different periods of his life resemble each other. Both are neurotic scoundrels, yet there is a green lane in Paradise where Humbert is permitted to wander at dusk once a year; but Hell shall never parole Hermann.
    Vladimir Nabokov (1899–1977)

Thus piteously Love closed what he begat:
The union of this ever-diverse pair!
These two were rapid falcons in a snare,
Condemned to do the flitting of the bat.
    George Meredith (1828–1909)

The talk shows are stuffed full of sufferers who have regained their health—congressmen who suffered through a serious spell of boozing and skirt-chasing, White House aides who were stricken cruelly with overweening ambition, movie stars and baseball players who came down with acute cases of wanting to trash hotel rooms while under the influence of recreational drugs. Most of them have found God, or at least a publisher.
    Calvin Trillin (b. 1935)

Sorrow breaks seasons and reposing hours,
Makes the night morning and the noontide night.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
