Boobies and Gannets
Order: Pelecaniformes. Family: Sulidae
The sulids comprise the gannets and boobies. Both groups are medium-large coastal seabirds that plunge-dive for fish. In South Carolina, four species have been recorded.

- Brown Booby, Sula leucogaster
- Red-footed Booby, Sula sula
- Northern Gannet, Morus bassanus
