Woodcreepers
Order: Passeriformes. Family: Dendrocolaptidae
The Dendrocolaptidae are brownish birds and maintain an upright vertical posture, supported by their stiff tail vanes. They feed mainly on insects taken from tree trunks. There are 14 species which have been recorded in Paraguay.
