Paco is the best friend of Jaime Reyes. Unlike his comic-book counterpart, Paco is unaware of Jaime's duel life as Blue Beetle, and often belittles Blue Beetle in favor of other heroes. One example is shown in "Revenge of the Reach!", when Jaime asks him for help on how to defeat Evil Star, Paco assumes he was playing the Blue Beetle video game (He states that he's on the Crazy Quilt).
