Bat-Ape
In this show, Bat-Ape was an ordinary gorilla that Batman and Robin rescued from poachers. Since then, the gorilla has been helping Batman and Robin with crime in the jungle as Bat-Ape. In "Shadow of the Bat," Bat-Ape helps Batman and Robin fight Catwoman and her pet black panther Hecate. Bat-Ape does battle with Hecate until she escapes with Catwoman. Batman thanked Bat-Ape for his assistance.
