Siti Nurhaliza is one of the best-selling and most famous artists in the Malay Archipelago and Nusantara region. She has been Malaysia's most award winning artiste when her record was included in the Malaysia Book of Records in 2001 and remained the record holder till now. To date, she has garnered more than 200 local awards as well as international awards.

She is a multiple record holders for various awards and accolades, so far she has received – 34 Anugerah Industri Muzik awards, 23 Anugerah Bintang Popular awards, 21 Anugerah Planet Muzik awards, 18 Anugerah Juara Lagu awards, four MTV Asia Awards and the holder of two records in the Malaysia Book of Records.
