ARIA Awards
In Australia, the group has won eleven ARIA Awards from 26 nominations, including being the first ever winner of the Best New Talent award in 1987, the ceremony's first year. These awards are presented by the Australian Record Industry Association. The group's success has been across categories, but they have been particularly successful in the "best group" category. Notably, the majority of the ARIA Awards were won in the band's earlier years from their first two albums, Crowded House and Temple of Low Men.
