- August 29: A Dutch AH-64D Apache, designation Q-20, crashes near Kabul, slightly injuring one crew member.
- August 12: UH-60 Black Hawk crashes in Khost province, killing one soldier and injuring fourteen.
- June 28:The crew of an AH-64DApache helicopter escaped with minor injuries after being forced to make an emergency landing north of Qalat. The aircraft caught on fire and was completely destroyed.
