Mondays to Saturdays there is a half hourly service towards Portadown or Newry in one direction, and to Great Victoria Street, Belfast Central or Bangor in the other. Extra services run at peak times, and the service reduces to hourly operation in the evenings.
Following platform extension work, there are now three Enterprise services to Dublin Connolly or Belfast Central each day. Previously, one Enterprise train called at Lisburn on Sundays only.
Certain peak time trains also run as expresses between here and Great Victoria Street.
On Sundays there is an hourly NIR service in each direction.

Famous quotes containing the word service:
“O good old man, how well in thee appears
The constant service of the antique world,
When service sweat for duty, not for meed!”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
“For those parents from lower-class and minority communities ... [who] have had minimal experience in negotiating dominant, external institutions or have had negative and hostile contact with social service agencies, their initial approaches to the school are often overwhelming and difficult. Not only does the school feel like an alien environment with incomprehensible norms and structures, but the families often do not feel entitled to make demands or force disagreements.”
—Sara Lawrence Lightfoot (20th century)
“We could not help being struck by the seeming, though innocent, indifference of Nature to these mens necessities, while elsewhere she was equally serving others. Like a true benefactress, the secret of her service is unchangeableness. Thus is the busiest merchant, though within sight of his Lowell, put to pilgrims shifts, and soon comes to staff and scrip and scallop-shell.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
