"Lisa the Drama Queen" is the ninth episode of the twentieth season of The Simpsons. It aired January 25, 2009 and guest starred Emily Blunt as Juliet. A special version of the end credits theme was performed by Fall Out Boy, although they do not guest star in the actual episode. This was the last episode in the series to be presented only in standard definition, the first regular episode to begin right after the opening credits without a commercial break, with an episode now having four segments, and the final episode to have the opening sequence starting from Season 2. Brian Kelley returns as a writer after five seasons of being absent from the show. It is a parody of the 1994 film Heavenly Creatures.

Famous quotes containing the words drama and/or queen:

Life’s so ordinary that literature has to deal with the exceptional. Exceptional talent, power, social position, wealth.... Drama begins where there’s freedom of choice. And freedom of choice begins when social or psychological conditions are exceptional. That’s why the inhabitants of imaginative literature have always been recruited from the pages of Who’s Who.
    Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)

And thus Snow White became the prince’s bride.
The wicked queen was invited to the wedding feast
and when she arrived there were
    red-hot iron shoes,
in the manner of red-hot roller skates,
    clamped upon her feet.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)
