EXPO Section
To serve the Expo 2010 in Shanghai, a short section of Line 13 had opened between April and October in 2010. It acted as a special transportation line and was only accessible for tourists and workers helping out in the Expo. The line interchanges with Line 9 at Madang Road. During the Expo, tourists travelling via Line 9 had to leave that station, go through security checks and ticket control, before they are allowed to transfer to Line 13 from the same station. This section is currently closed.
