Liga Indonesia Premier Division

Liga Indonesia Premier Division (Indonesian: Divisi Utama Liga Indonesia) is the regionalised second level of football competition system in Indonesia, organized by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). The competition is usually divided geographically into two or three groups. The 2010–11 season is sponsored by Ti-Phone, a cellular phone manufacturer and called as Liga Ti-Phone. Currently, as a result of continuing conflict between PT Liga Indonesia (LI), Indonesia Super League organizer, and PT Liga Prima Indonesia Sportindo (LPIS), Indonesian Premier League organizer, there are two different Liga Indonesia Premier Division being organized for 2011–12 season.

Prior to the formation of Indonesia Super League in 2008, Premier Division was the Indonesian top flight football league. Along with Premier League/Super League, Premier Division is a competition for professional (semi professional) football clubs.
