Lifetime Reserve Days

Lifetime reserve days are additional days that the United States health care system Medicare will pay for when a beneficiary is in a hospital for more than 90 days. Beneficiaries are limited to a total of 60 reserve days over the course of their life.

Famous quotes containing the words lifetime, reserve and/or days:

The individual, the great artist when he comes, uses everything that has been discovered or known about his art up to that point, being able to accept or reject in a time so short it seems that the knowledge was born with him, rather than that he takes instantly what it takes the ordinary man a lifetime to know, and then the great artist goes beyond what has been done or known and makes something of his own.
    Ernest Hemingway (1899–1961)

I do not know what right I have to so much happiness, but rather hold it in reserve till the time of my desert.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

Are not the days of my life few? Let me alone, that I may find a little comfort before I go, never to return, to the land of gloom and deep darkness, the land of gloom and chaos, where light is like darkness.
    Bible: Hebrew, Job 10:20.
