Liberty Choral Program
The Liberty Choral Program is regarded as the best of all the high schools in Bakersfield, California. The program contains Liberty Belles and Chamber Belles (both groups Women's Choirs), Chamber Chorale, and the school's major performing ensemble, the 120 member Liberty Chorale. In 2007, the Liberty Chorale was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City and premiere a new choral piece by Mark Hayes. The Chorale is also the only high school group in Bakersfield to perform with the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra and Bakersfield Masterworks Chorale. The group is under the direction of Timothy Williams.
