Li Keyong

Li Keyong (Chinese: 李克用; pinyin: Lǐ Kèyòng) (October 24, 856 – February 23, 908) was a Shatuo military governor (Jiedushi) during the late Tang Dynasty and was key to developing a base of power for the Shatuo in what is today Shanxi Province in China. His son, Li Cunxu (Emperor Zhuangzong) would eventually became the founder of the Later Tang Dynasty, arguably the first of many Conquest Dynasties in China.
