Let's Go To Bed (No Angels Song)

"Let's Go to Bed" is a dance-pop song written and produced by Mustafa "Mousse T." Gündogdu and Errol Rennalls for the No Angels' second studio album, Now ... Us! (2002). It received a positive reception from music critics and was released as the album's third single in German-speaking Europe on November 4, 2002 (see 2002 in music).

The song peaked at number 12 in Germany and number 46 in Austria. While "Let's Go to Bed" ended the run of the bands' consecutive top 10 songs in Germany, it also became the No Angels' first single release not to enter the Swiss Singles Chart. Altogether, the track sold more than 100,000 copies Europe-wide, making it the band's lowest-selling single between the years of 2001 and 2003.

Famous quotes containing the words bed and/or angels:

    It is comforting when one has a sorrow to lie in the warmth of one’s bed and there, abandoning all effort and all resistance, to bury even one’s head under the cover, giving one’s self up to it completely, moaning like branches in the autumn wind. But there is still a better bed, full of divine odors. It is our sweet, our profound, our impenetrable friendship.
    Marcel Proust (1871–1922)

    The angels are stooping
    Above your bed;
    They weary of trooping
    With the whimpering dead.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
