Let's Get Ready (Education)

Let's Get Ready (LGR) is a non-profit organization that provides free tutoring and college preparation advice to low-income high school students -- many that might not otherwise pursue post-secondary education. Programs are based at colleges, staffed by college student volunteers. Let's Get Ready is the largest network of student-run college access programs in the U.S., serving approximately 2,500 U.S. high school students per year. Let's Get Ready provides low-income high school students with free tutoring and preparation for Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) exams, admissions counseling and other support services needed to gain admission to and then graduate from college. LGR trains college student volunteers to deliver these services and offer encouragement, inspiration and confidence.".
