Famous quotes containing the words lets and/or killed:
“Beware when the great God lets loose a thinker on this planet. Then all things are at risk.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“What shall he have that killed the deer?
His leather skin and horns to wear.
Then sing him home.
Take thou no scorn to wear the horn,
It was a crest ere thou wast born;
Thy fathers father wore it,
And thy father bore it.
The horn, the horn, the lusty horn
Is not a thing to laugh to scorn.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
