Lesley Duncan - Later Life

Later Life

Duncan moved with her family to the Isle of Mull, Scotland in 1997, where most residents came to know her as a cheerful gardener and knew nothing of her previous life in the music industry. By all accounts content to lead a more private, family-oriented life in her later years, Lesley (Duncan) Cox died on 12 March 2010 of cerebrovascular disease following an extended illness.

Famous quotes containing the word life:

Without poets, without artists, men would soon weary of nature’s monotony. The sublime idea men have of the universe would collapse with dizzying speed. The order which we find in nature, and which is only an effect of art, would at once vanish. Everything would break up in chaos. There would be no seasons, no civilization, no thought, no humanity; even life would give way, and the impotent void would reign everywhere.
    Guillaume Apollinaire (1880–1918)

    I see a man’s life is a tedious one.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
