    Come, thou long-expected Jesus,
    born to set thy people free;
    from our fears and sins release us,

    —Charles Wesley (1707–1788)

    Wherever there are walls I shall inscribe this eternal accusation against Christianity upon them—I can write in letters which make even the blind see ... Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)
