Leon Vlemmings

Leon Vlemmings (born April 3, 1970 in Gemert) is a Dutch former player and currently the football manager of SBV Excelsior. In June 2008, Feyenoord announced that it had reached an agreement with NAC Breda on the appointment of Vlemmings as assistant coach at De Kuip. On January 14, 2009 he was appointed the interim manager of Feyenoord until the end of 2008/09 season after the previous manager Gertjan Verbeek was fired for poor results.

For the 2009–10 season, Mario Been was signed to manage Feyenoord. Vlemmings returned to his former job as assistant coach. He coached Cyprus side AEK Larnaca for the 2011–12 season. In May 2012, he was named as the head coach of Eerste Divisie club SBV Excelsior.
