Sequel
In December 2006, Left Behind Games announced an expansion pack for the original game which was scheduled to be released on November 15, 2007. Gamespot news reported in an interview with CEO Troy Lyndon that Inspired Media Entertainment had signed a deal with Big Huge Games, creator of Rise of Nations and its spin-offs, in order to use the Rise of Nations engine to produce a sequel to "Eternal Forces" instead, titled Left Behind: Tribulation Forces.
The sequel was released in April 2008, and features new graphical building enhancements, a new neutral faction (the American Militia Forces), 5 new missions, and 2 new maps. In May 2008, a version 1.05 update was released.
