Learning To Breathe (Larry Stewart Album)
Learning to Breathe is the fourth album by American country music singer Larry Stewart. The final solo album of his career, it was released in 1999 on Windham Hill Records. "Still in Love", the only single, failed to chart. "Summer in the City" is a cover of a single originally recorded by The Lovin' Spoonful. After the album's release, Stewart rejoined Restless Heart in 2003, and has been a member since.
Stephen Thomas Erlewine rated the album three stars out of five in Allmusic, saying that he considered it to have a more adult contemporary than country sound, but referring to Stewart's voice as "smooth robust."

Famous quotes containing the words learning, breathe and/or stewart:
“I think it is better to show love by meeting needs than to keep telling my son that I love him. Right now he is learning to tie his shoes. He is old enough, so even though its hard for him, sometimes I insist. But once in a while when I see hes tired I still do it for him, and I have noticed that while I am tying his shoe, he says, I love you, Mommy. When he says, I love you, I know that he knows that he is loved.”
—Anonymous Parent (20th century)
“Chaucer is fresh and modern still, and no dust settles on his true passages. It lightens along the line, and we are reminded that flowers have bloomed, and birds sung, and hearts beaten in England. Before the earnest gaze of the reader, the rust and moss of time gradually drop off, and the original green life is revealed. He was a homely and domestic man, and did breathe quite as modern men do.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“... such is the horrible idea that I entertain respecting a life of servitude, that if I conceived of there being no possibility of my rising above the condition of servant, I would gladly hail death as a welcome messenger.”
—Maria Stewart (18031879)
