Lean Construction - Integrated Lean Project Delivery (ILPD)

Integrated Lean Project Delivery (ILPD)

ILPD is a multi-party contract that specifies the use of lean practices as conceived in the Lean Project Delivery System. This distinction is needed because Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) is now only referring to the multi-party agreement regardless of what practices are used, the so called IPD-lite or IPD-ish. Boldt Construction describes ILPD succinctly in this YouTube video.

Famous quotes containing the words integrated, lean, project and/or delivery:

    Science is intimately integrated with the whole social structure and cultural tradition. They mutually support one other—only in certain types of society can science flourish, and conversely without a continuous and healthy development and application of science such a society cannot function properly.
    Talcott Parsons (1902–1979)

    Riot in Algeria, in Cyprus, in Alabama;
    Aged in wrong, the empires are declining,
    And China gathers, soundlessly, like evidence.
    What shall I say to the young on such a morning?—
    Mind is the one salvation?—also grammar?—
    No; my little ones lean not toward revolt.
    William Dewitt Snodgrass (b. 1926)

    If we should swap a good library for a second-rate stump speech and not ask for boot, it would be thoroughly in tune with our hearts. For deep within each of us lies politics. It is our football, baseball, and tennis rolled into one. We enjoy it; we will hitch up and drive for miles in order to hear and applaud the vitriolic phrases of a candidate we have already reckoned we’ll vote against.
    —Federal Writers’ Project Of The Wor, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)

    There was no speculation so promising, or at the same time so praisworthy, as the United Metropolitan Improved Hot Muffin and Crumpet Baking and Punctual Delivery Company.
    Charles Dickens (1812–1870)
