Solomon has written that he has had negative experiences editing Wikipedia. He has written columns criticizing Wikipedia's articles on global warming and other topics, including his own Wikipedia biography page, saying that they were edited by "zealots" and that Wikipedia was "modern propaganda." He has also criticized the Wikipedia edits of William Connolley.
