Speaker Series
Throughout the year, board members and other high-level company executives visit Lauder and give lectures to students. Following these lectures, students are encouraged to spend time discussing issues with the speakers. In some instances, a select group of students is invited to have dinner with the guest speaker.

Famous quotes containing the words speaker and/or series:
“There is also this benefit in brag, that the speaker is unconsciously expressing his own ideal. Humor him by all means, draw it all out, and hold him to it.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“If the technology cannot shoulder the entire burden of strategic change, it nevertheless can set into motion a series of dynamics that present an important challenge to imperative control and the industrial division of labor. The more blurred the distinction between what workers know and what managers know, the more fragile and pointless any traditional relationships of domination and subordination between them will become.”
—Shoshana Zuboff (b. 1951)
