The CONEXPO-CON/AGG construction trade show in 2008 used the most space, 2,400,000 sq ft (220,000 m2).

The LVCC is adjacent to the Las Vegas Hilton and the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel and is accessible from the Las Vegas Monorail.

Famous quotes containing the words vegas, convention and/or center:

Shoot, a fellow could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff.
    Stanley Kubrick (b. 1928)

By convention there is color, by convention sweetness, by
convention bitterness, but in reality there are atoms and space.
    Democritus (c. 460–400 B.C.)

Actually being married seemed so crowded with unspoken rules and odd secrets and unfathomable responsibilities that it had no more occurred to her to imagine being married herself than it had to imagine driving a motorcycle or having a job. She had, however, thought about being a bride, which had more to do with being the center of attention and looking inexplicably, temporarily beautiful than it did with sharing a double bed with someone with hairy legs and a drawer full of boxer shorts.
    Anna Quindlen (b. 1952)
