Personal Life
In high school, Hoyt played basketball, football, and baseball. He attended Texas State University, where he played college football as a quarterback. He has a degree in English. While in college he worked at a nightclub, where an acquaintance introduced him to Solo Fiatala, who trained him to be a professional wrestler.
Hoyt made his video game debut in WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 as Vance Archer.
